OK: Remember that conversation back in S5, when River was flying the TARDIS and Amy’s like “How can you fly the TARDIS?” and River is like “I learned from the best” and the Doctor has this smug smile cause he thinks it was him but then River turns to him and says “You were busy that day.”

(A) The Doctor was “busy that day” because he was DYING.

(B) River learned to fly the TARDIS from the TARDIS! That’s why she can actually fly it better than the Doctor!!

I LOVE THAT SOME THINGS ARE FINALLY STARTING TO COME TOGETHER.
